  • Transaction fees are determined by the payment processors (Stripe or Mollie) and vary based on the payment method used.

  • Yes, you can set up deposits or partial payments to give your customers flexibility. You can choose to let customers pay a fixed amount or a percentage of the total upfront. Deposits can also be configured per boat and adjusted dynamically based on rental duration, giving you full control over how payments are managed.

  • While late fees are not automated to avoid misunderstandings, you can manually calculate additional charges for extra rental time and deduct them from the customer’s deposit if necessary. Late trips are easy to identify in the planning overview and within the booking details, allowing you to address them quickly and efficiently.

  • Refunds currently need to be processed directly through your payment provider (e.g., Stripe or Mollie). While Let's Book does not yet handle refunds directly, this feature is planned for future updates. However, Let's Book provides real-time visibility of the refund status, as this information is retrieved from the payment providers.

    Standard $30/month or €25 + 2.5% booking fee

    Best for small and medium-sized rental businesses. You get all features with no limitations—just a lower monthly fee and slightly higher booking fee.

    Pro $175/month or €150 + 1% booking fee

    The ideal choice for growing rental businesses. If your annual revenue exceeds $120,000, this package becomes more cost-effective due to its lower booking fee.

  • Billing starts when you go live.

    You can first fully set up and test Let’s Book in the test mode of your payment provider. During this phase, you can already connect Let’s Book to your website and go through the entire booking flow without any charges.

    Once you’re ready to accept real bookings, we automatically switch both Let’s Book and your payment provider to live mode. From that moment on, billing starts.

  • No long-term commitment required. Let's Book is billed monthly, so you can cancel anytime.

    Prefer to pay upfront? Annual billing is also available—contact us for details.

  • The booking fee is charged automatically by your payment provider (Stripe or Mollie) at the moment a booking is confirmed. The fee amount is determined by Let’s Book and included in the transaction handled by the payment provider.

    In most cases, both the payment provider’s processing fee and the Let’s Book booking fee are settled directly during the transaction.

    For administrative purposes, we still issue a separate invoice for booking fees. In many cases this will be a €0 / $0 invoice, because the fee has already been paid automatically at the time of booking.

    In some cases (for example API bookings or bookings via OTA’s), transaction fees may still be charged afterwards. This functionality will be expanded further in the future.

    The fixed monthly subscription fee is always invoiced separately.

  • Booking fees are charged when a booking is created and are not refunded if the booking is later cancelled—neither by Let's Book nor by the payment provider.

    For this reason, we recommend setting up cancellation fees to help cover transaction costs. You can configure flexible cancellation policies that charge customers a percentage or fixed amount when they cancel, protecting your business from losing money on cancelled bookings.

  • Yes, you can shift the booking fee to your customers so it doesn't affect your margins. When enabled, customers will see the fee as a separate line item during checkout.

    This is a popular option for operators who want to keep their advertised prices clean while remaining transparent about transaction costs. You can enable this in your pricing settings.

  • Yes, you can upgrade your plan at any time. Your new pricing takes effect immediately.

    If you'd like to switch to a lower plan, contact us at the end of your rental season and we'll adjust it for the next season.

  • Before canceling, we recommend exporting your bookings using the built-in export tools. That way you have everything you need.

    After cancellation:

    • You have 14 days to request any additional data you may have missed

    • After 2 months, your data is permanently deleted from our servers
